Privacy Policy — social-machine

social-machine is an internal, first-party publishing-automation tool. It has no public users. This policy describes what data the tool accesses and stores.

Data we access and store

• OAuth credentials for social media accounts owned by Laced Labs LLC (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X). Tokens are stored encrypted at rest on servers we operate and are used only to publish content and read metrics for those accounts.
• Content we create (videos, images, text) staged for publication to our own accounts.
• Performance metrics of our own published content (e.g., views, watch time, likes, comments counts, shares) retrieved from platform APIs, including YouTube Analytics and Reporting API data for the channel(s) we own. This data is stored in a private database on servers we operate and retained while it remains useful for content planning.

Data we do not collect

social-machine does not collect, store, or process personal information from any individual other than Laced Labs' own personnel operating the tool. It does not read other users' data, does not collect data about viewers or commenters beyond the aggregate metrics platforms provide about our own content, and does not sell or share any data with third parties.

YouTube API Services

social-machine uses YouTube API Services. By using it, the operating account agrees to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. The tool accesses, via OAuth consent of the channel owner: upload capability to the owner's channel and analytics/reporting data for that channel only. Stored YouTube API data is limited to our own channel's video metadata and performance metrics. In addition to deleting stored data on request to the contact below, access can be revoked at any time via Google security settings, which invalidates the stored tokens.

Other platform APIs

The same first-party-only scope applies to our use of the Meta Graph API, TikTok Content Posting and Display APIs, LinkedIn API, and X API: publish to our own accounts, read metrics for our own content, nothing else.
